Course Content
Our Work at Height course content includes:
Risk Assessment, Legislation, Emergency Rescue Plans,
Fall Prevention, Personal Fall Protection Systems.
This training is available online as an e-learning course with remote/live practical assessment, through a 1-2-1 Live Video Conference Call and can
also be arranged for groups in a classroom video conference session.
Work at Height in the Workplace
Safe work at height practice is essential in the workplace, and at home. More than 40% of all fatalities in the construction industry worldwide, are a result of a fall from height. In Ireland, work at height legislation requires that anyone working at height is trained, planning is carried out before any work at height commences, and anyone who uses personal fall protection equipment must be trained in the safe use and inspection of the equipment.
Controlling Work at Height Risks:
It is necessary to carry out a work at height risk assessment before making an informed decision on what control measures need to be implemented, to eliminate or minimise the consequences of a fall from height occurring.
